Our Story
How it began
Sri: It all started in January 2021 in Indianapolis. And honestly, my first impression of Vivek was definitely not love at first sight! I helped him with his luggage, and he didn’t even say “thank you.” I remember thinking, Hmm… so this is the guy I’m meeting today? Little did I know that the guy I met that day would eventually become my favorite person.
Vivek: In my defense, I had no idea I was meeting my future wife that day. If I had known, ... I probably would’ve tried a little harder to make a good first impression. ❤️
Sri: Somewhere along the way, we just started becoming a bigger part of each other’s lives. It was all the little things the meals we shared, the conversations that somehow never seemed to end, our Hyderabad banter, and Vivek always finding some excuse to be around while I was cooking. Without really noticing when it happened, he became the person I wanted to tell everything to and the person I was happiest around.
Vivek: And somewhere along the way, we both realized there was something more between us. It just felt natural. We could talk for hours, laugh about the most random things, and be completely ourselves around each other. Somewhere between all those little moments, we found something that felt really special. ❤️
Together: Since then, we’ve laughed a lot, traveled, shared countless meals, made memories we’ll always cherish, and grown together through all of life’s beautiful and unexpected moments. There have been adventures, plenty of laughs, a few plot twists, and everything in between but through it all, we’ve always had each other.
What started as a simple friendship became something neither of us saw coming. And somehow, that unexpected beginning turned into our favorite love story.
Now, we’re so excited to start the next chapter together, surrounded by the people we love most.
